... various volunteers with different skills and active in different fields, focussing on digital literacy and creativity under the eye [4] tech banner. The key person for the moment is Kristof.
Kristof's friends claim he is the eternal student as took a liking to learning long after they were building careers. That interest only emerged after he finished his studies as an Industrial Engineer in Medical Electronics. He worked for a decade for Doctors without Borders (MSF) in wide variety of contexts and countries. During his stay at MSF he obtained a Masters in water and Waste Engineering at the University of Loughborough. After two year at ICRC in Somalia, he consulted for organisation like Oxfam GB, Save the Children, Action Against Hunger, UNDP-Somalia, UNEP-library-Nairobi, UN-habit on, water & sanitation issues in emergency, cholera controle measures, knowledge "management", information search strategies, improvement of data accuracy, and geo-statistical analysis. While lecturing on water and sanitation for the environmental health group health group at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, kristof obtained his PhD in public health. In this period his focus moved away from humanitarian aid towards more structural development work. After consultancies for organisations like WaterAid, WHO, Unicef, IRC and in particular the Joint Monitoring Programme for Water Supply and Sanitation (JMP) as part of its technical advisory group he joint IRC and focused on monitoring systems and -methods. After five years he started his own social enterprise monitoring [4] change which currently provides seed money for eye [4] tech.
Prof. Dr. Ing. Dodazo Etcetera (currently on sabbatical leave)
Brilliant, intelligent, absent-minded, funny and very fictitious professor Dandazo is willing to share his knowledge between all the various researches he is involved in. Dodazo Etcetera was born in the principality of Wallachia in Romania almost 100 years ago. He lived through the industrial revolution and the development of the computer. He wants to ensure his immortality although he finds forever quite a long time. Some mistakes ago he was very respected but some would argue that despite his enormous knowledge he has no fixed research team so he keeps on rekrutering new young members for doing research. In between work he likes to tell stories and share knowledge in particular when his colleague Dr. Eng. Bostoen is not around. While they are good friends they are rarely seen together.
(Any resemblance to existing people is purely coincidental and unintended, our apologies if that would be the case.)
